Padstow Lifeboat Station - 2
Looking towards the Lifeboat Station and Merope Rocks.
The lifeboat station was resited from Hawkers Cove in October 1967 - due to river silting.
The lifeboat can now launch into deep water at any state of the tide.
A new boat house and slipway ( for a Tamar class boat ) was opened in 2006 , when the older house was removed.
