South Cornwall - Geology
Conglomerate - Jacka Point - Portloe (S26)
Looking to the East and Jacka Point.
To the left are Black Slates with veins of Quartzite.
Then some coarse Conglomerate of the Upper Devonian Roseland Breccia with large pebbles of
Granite and Metamorphic rocks.
To the right , and difficult to distinquish from the Conglomerate , is Sheared / Weathered Basalt.
Conglomerate also appears at Caragloose Point , further to the east of Portloe.
