Little Dennis Blockhouse - Pendennis point
In the reign of Henry VIII there was a threat of invasion from France and Spain.
A small gun tower, Little Dennis Blockhouse, was built in 1539
to defend the Carrick Roads waterway at the mouth of the River Fal.
