The yard is located in the third largest natural deep water harbour in the world,
and is the largest ship repair complex in the UK.
3 Dry Docks at A&P
No.2 (1864) , enlarged to 850ft long and able to take the largest ship of the day ,
named Queen Elizabeth Dock in 1958.
