Gilson’s Cove Mine
The fence of one of the two mine shafts can be seen on the edge of the cliff above Gilson’s Cove ,
set amongst mine waste.
The Coast Path passes between the two fenced off shafts of this small lead , silver and antimony mine .
Another mine - Port Quin Antimony Mine operated about 1/2 mile south of Port Quin , on a different Lode.
