Portreath Harbour
Looking over the Outer Basin of the Harbour.
The Harbour was developed from the 1760's , with the Basins built in 1801 ,1840 ,1860.
Copper ore was transported from local mines to Swansea , South Wales for smelting ,
the ships returning with Welsh Coal.
The Copper trade had ceased by 1886
Small fishing Boats and private boats use the Harbour .
