Limpet Grazing Trails
Marks made by Limpets grazing the algae on the intertidal boulders.
Limpets scrape films of algae from the rock with a radula, a ribbon-like tongue with rows of teeth.
As they graze the side-to-side motion forms this zig-zag pattern.
