Raised Beach / Portheras Cove - 2 (S16)
Rounded stones at beach level , a raised beach, deposited about 120,000 years ago when sea levels
were higher than now.
Angular frost shattered rocks are above , formed as frozen ground melted in warmer periods during
the last Ice Age that lasted until 10,000 years ago.
