Pegmatite - Aplite - Porthmeor Cove (S16)
In the roof of the Granite Cupola .
Granite with alternating sheets of Aplite and Pegmatite (with some very large Feldspar Crystals)
Aplite has very fine grains with the mineral composition of granite. Pegmatites have very large crystals .
