The Hurlers is a line of 3 Late Neolithic / Early Bronze Age Stone Circles , in a row , originally with about
29 Granite Stones in each Circle.
The name is said to derive from a legend in which a group of men were turned into stone as a punishment
for playing a game of Cornish Hurling on the Sabbath.
The Southern Cicle has 2 upright stones and 7 fallen.
The Central Circle has 14 upright stones.
The Northern Circle has 11 Upright Stones and 4 fallen
