Elvan Dyke - Hoblyn's Cove (S13)

One of the Elvan Dykes in Hoblyn's Cove.
Elvan is very hard volcanic rock . Chemically similar to Granite.
Magma intruded into other rocks to form a (vertical) dyke cooling quickly - resulting in fairly small crystals.
It can be finely carved and is often used for intricate parts of buildings.
