Autumn Lady's Tresses
A fine colony of this late flowering Orchid on the Southern Slope of Brea Hill ( Rock - North Cornwall ).
" Spiranthes Spiralis " / flowers - august and september / very short flowers - 5cm + / difficult to see ,
even when flowering / white flowers arranged in a tight spiral / scented of Honey /
flower spike covered in white hairs / pollinated by Bumblebees .
