The ancient woodland at Dizzard dating from 6500-4000 BC forms a dense canopy (1-8 metre high)
despite the exposed position on unstable cliffs.
High slumped Cliffs with lower sloping undercliffs. Notable for the Dwarf Oaks (Sessile),
also Rowan , Wild Service Trees, Pedunculate Oaks.
