Cornwall - Prehistoric Monuments
Tregeseal Holed Stones - 1
In all 6 stones are in this area with 4 still standing.
Their purpose is open to speculation , presumed to be contemporary with the Stone Circle and Barrows .
The holes are small - about 8cm diameter - with bevelled edges .
In this photo 4 of these mysterious holed granite stones are in a WSW - ENE alignment
( one has fallen - a half remains - broken across its hole )

Location - West Cornwall - Lands End Penninsula / West Penwith
From Tregeseal Stone Circle a track climbs up the hill towards Carn Kenidjack and a noticeable mound -
a prehistoric Barrow.
After 100m a path to the right passes the Barrow and on to the line of 3 standing stones
