Cornwall - Prehistoric Monuments
Men Scryfa
A 1.8m Standing Stone possibly from the Bronze Age , inscribed around 6th century AD
to commemorate the death in battle of a royal warrior.
The northern face bears the inscription in two lines - 'RIALOBRANI CUNOVALI FILI' -
which in Cornish means 'Royal Raven son of the Glorious Prince'.
The name Men Scryfa means “stone of writing.

Location - West Cornwall - Lands End Penninsula / West Penwith
North of Lanyon Farm on the Morvah to Madron Road , parking spaces near the farm track running north-east .
The track leads passed Men - An - Tol to the monument .
