Dyke - Kennack Sands - 1 (S23)

In the low cliff behind the Cafe at Kennack Sands is a vein of pinkish-brown rock - Kennack Gneiss .
Kennack Gneiss consists of bands of Pale Pink Feldspar Microgranite and Dark Grey Basalt .
The Dyke like body intrudes into the cliff - formed from Bastite Serpentinite and Gabbro.
Veins of Talc minerals , associated with Serpentine , such as Soapstone are in the cliffs in this area
