A former fishing hamlet at the head of a narrow inlet - 4 fish cellars remain - Rashleigh , Union are near the beach ,
with Venus and Liberty inland - but now converted.
Slate from local Quarries was exported by sea ketches until the railway arrived at Delabole in 1893.
