Thyme Broomrape - 'Orobanche alba'
Thyme Broomrape is a short broomrape / deep purplish - red / parasitic on the roots of Labiates
especially Wild Thyme .
On the Lizard, it is usually found on rocky serpentine sea-cliffs, such as in this case near Kynance Cove.
