The Stamps Engine House of Trevega Bal.
Trevega Bal was an amalgamation of several small tin mines, some of which are very old ,
dating back to the 17th century
In the 18C the mines operated under a number of names - Brea Consols , Trevassa&Brea ,
West St Ives Consols. The Mine worked intermittently - closing in 1913.
Its ruinouus state was advanced by a german plane dropping a bomb in WW2
