
The two slipways leading to the Harbour / Beach on the west side of Bessy's Cove .
A rock cut roadway can be seen at low tide , partly cut and partly worn in the bedrock
between the beach and the harbour inlet. The harbour was cut out of the solid rock .
The tracks where used by horse and carts collecting seaweed for use on local farmers fields
and by the Smugglers famous at this cove.
