Lizard Lifeboat Station
The Lifeboat Station in Kilcobben Cove
The first station to serve The Lizard Headland was opened on 7 July 1961 and replaced
with the current station on 5 May 2012.
Due to the steepness of the cliff, a funicular railway carries the lifeboat crew down to the boathouse.
