Granite Sills - Tremearne Cliff -2 (S21)
Tremearne Cliff between Megiliggar Rocks and Tremearne Par exposes the eastern contact of the Tregonning - Godolphin Granite with Metamorphosed Mylor Slate.
A spectacular array of MicroGranite / Aplite / Pegmatite Sills can be seen in the cliffs.
Aplite has very fine grains with the mineral composition of granite. Pegmatite has very large crystals .
