Bowerman's Nose - 1
Bowerman's Nose is a spectacular stack of weathered granite on the northern slopes of Hayne Down, about a mile north of Hound Tor .
The Farmers fields in the valley below climb up to Easdon Tor.
Legend says that Bowerman was out hunting one day and his dogs disturbed a groups of witches.
They cursed him and turned him and his hounds into petrified stones. His hounds form nearby Hound Tor.

Parking on a minor road off the B3387 , at Swallerton Gate Car Park , north of Hound Tor .
A gated lane running north leads to a FP on Hayne Down.
