Pillow Lavas - Carn Du / Levant (S17)
Carn Du is a rocky outcrop to the south of Levant Engine Houses , low down the Cliff.
Flattened pillow structures in Carn Du are nicely picked out by their orange margins,
in the contact-metamorphosed spilitic lavas (fine grained igneous rocks)
