Carrick Du - (Man's Head) is a rocky outcrop to the east of Clodgy Point , with noticeable Pillow Lava -
Volcanic Basaltic rock which erupted and cooled under water (370mya).
Later (290mya) the volcanic basaltic rock was changed by heat / pressure of the Igneous Granite Intrusion
into a dark hard rock known locally as Greenstone
