The View from Fishing Point of the impressive sandy Beach (nearly 1 mile long) at Carlyon Bay.
The Beach was Formed from the waste of the Cornish mining & china clay industry
which washed down the river accumulating over the years .
This eastern end of the beach is Polgaver Beach with Shorthorn Beach in the centre
and Crinnis beach at the western end.
