Periglacial Cliffs - Praa Sands (S21)
Near to Hendra Steps at the eastern end of Praa Sands is a pillbox.
Behind is a cliff formed of Pleistocene Periglacial Head Deposits .
Periglacial conditions created landscapes and geological conditions moulded by frost action -
the repeated freezing and thawing of material over many years.
